Diving (snorkeling) trips and certification courses may be cancelled or rescheduled due to the weather conditions or technical issues that are not suitable for marine sports activities, such as high waves and strong winds. Dive sites are picked daily based on weather and sea conditions, your safety and the safety of our staff is paramount in our operation. If your requested dive site is unavailable due to weather we will do our best to find a suitable alternative for you. Our diving instructors / dive masters / boat captain make decision about the selection of the dive sites and/or cancellation of the diving trips. In making decisions, we regard yours and our own safety as the most important.

When the waves are or become bigger than 1.5m, we may cancel our boat trips or return to our station.

If the weather condition does not allow us to have calm shallow water, we may use a pool or natural pool ( Cenote ) designed for diving training for your Confined Water training sessions or to use our mini bus to find a sheltered location . If the sea conditions are not good enough for Open Water training, your training dives will be rescheduled or moved to finisg on this places . Extra fee may apply for this new location.

The port could be closed by the harbor master due to bad weather or for any other reason that the authorities believe is important for the safety of the navigation, this can be with out any previous notice at any time of the day, if this happens we give you a 100 % refund of the services you booked.

Dive sites are picked daily based on weather and ocean conditions, your safety and the safety of our staff is paramount in our operation.

If you’ve requested a dive site and is unavailable due to weather we will do our best to find a suitable alternative for you, Decisions on weather conditions and safety of the boat are at the sole discretion of the captain the dive guide and the port authorities, we could change the dive destinations based on the advice of the experts with out previous notice and based on the weather at the moment of the activity.

If during the journey we cannot reach the designated dive site either by weather condition or mechanical reasons, we will provide another suitable dive site, As long as we are able to provide you with an alternative dive site, no refunds will be given.

FULL REFUND in case the port is closed by the harbor master for weather conditions, or mechanical reasons, the boat does not leave port or if we can’t give you another dive option.

FULL REFUND if you cancel with more than 72 hours or more of anticipation, in the case of Certification Courses 5 days prior the starting date.

If for any reason you decide to cancel with less than 72 hours of anticipation or at the moment of the activity we will keep the payment, even if you have a medical problem or a recipe from the doctor, we can change the dive date with no extra charge.

If you don’t choose any desire date or let us know which date would you want to do the activity at the moment of buying your activity, we will use the next day of date you bought your service as the date of booking.

PayPal don’t aloud us to keep money on their system, they send the money every day to our bank account this generates taxes to us, we will pay those taxes if you come scuba diving but if you cancel we can’t.

All refunds will have a 16 % of tax deducted from the total, we will also refund you in pesos the same amount we received the day after you pay, PayPal will convert this money to your national currency at the exchange rate of the day.

Any lost or broken item belonging to Deep Life Diving will be charged full price.

With prepaid deposits that follow these aforementioned rules – the deposit will be fully refunded with the exception of the fees, 6% for card payments and 6% for Paypal invoices and any materials purchased, such as course books.

Dropping the course before it starts is subject to the above listed refund policy. When paying for a course you do not pay for certification, you pay for training- you must meet the requirements for your particular course to earn certification. It is possible to fail a course; failure does not qualify you for a refund. Your instructor will determine if you can get certified or not, judging how you are meeting the requirements for your particular course (skill demonstration, comfort level in the water, and total dive skills) and your score on written examination and quizzes. If you do not follow your instructors’ directions, or if you cannot successfully demonstrate the skills that meet the requirement, you may not get certified. If you disagree with your instructor’s evaluation of your diving skills you can request a reevaluation by the Training Director or another instructor. All students who do not earn certification in a course will be provided with a written explanation of why they were not certified and they will get a referral form of all the skills, dives and theoretical part they cover.
